UO Sustainability Awards - Research & Scholarship and Innovation & Impact
The Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation (OVPRI) is seeking nominations for individuals or research teams for the
2023 Sustainability Awards. This award program aims to recognize individuals whose contributions deepen our culture of sustainability across a range of institutional activities. The OVPRI sponsors two of the Sustainability Awards: one for research and scholarship, and one for innovation and impact. Please fill out the
nomination form by
February 27, 2023 to make nominations (self-nominations welcome).
Call for Nominations - National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM)
NASEM is currently seeking nominations for two advisory groups:
Board on Environmental Change and Society (nominations due
February 16) and panel on
Co-Production of Environment Knowledge, Methods, and Approaches (nominations due
February 24). Research Development Services (RDS) can assist faculty in preparing nominations. Ideal nominators are NASEM members. However, we can also coordinate nominations by UO leadership. Please
email RDS as soon as possible if you would like assistance in developing nomination materials.
Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator Program - Webinar
The Howard Hughes Medical Institute
2024 Investigator Program competition is now open with a
March 21, 2023 deadline. The funder is holding two virtual information sessions about the program and this year's competition. Sessions will be held at
noon on February 1 and February 9. Registration for either session can be completed on the Investigator Program website above.
National Endowment of the Humanities Presentation - Reminder to Register
