She also forged a world-renowned professional development program in leadership and raised millions of dollars for scholarships from which students continue to benefit. Dr. Mobley also served as a consultant to the United States Agency for International Development, the Comptroller General, and an active member of several corporate boards. She is also a member of The Accounting Hall of Fame.
The tides of Dr. Sybil Mobley’s legacy continue to raise all the ships touched by her wake. Her work as the founder and dean of FAMU’S School of Business & Industry mobilizes and inspires the next generation of black dynamos in business. Through the millions she raised for scholarships, her work creates greater access for underserved students to achieve a top-notch education and thrive.
