Encore Greenway Park & Gateway Project Making Strides in North Point Corridor |
Exciting progress is underway on the Encore Greenway Park and Gateway, a True North 400 project connecting the Alpha Loop to the Big Creek Greenway. Located at the intersection of North Point Parkway and Encore Parkway, this project will serve as a recreational and transportation link, creating a gateway into one of North Fulton’s favorite outdoor areas.
| |
A partnership between the City of Alpharetta and True North 400, the project broke ground in March 2025, following the construction contract award to Strack, Inc. True North 400 has committed a total of $1.93 million to the effort, with $430,000 initially pledged and an additional $1.5 million approved for construction costs.
Key Updates:
- Site clearing is complete, and erosion control is in place.
-
A temporary access path across the bog area is being installed.
- Lighting options are under review, with special attention being given to cost-effective solutions.
Once complete, the Encore Greenway Park and Gateway will significantly enhance connectivity between the Alpha Loop and the Big Creek Greenway, two of the region’s most beloved trail systems.
Stay tuned as construction continues on this important regional gateway!
