True North 400 is thrilled to announce the opening of the new three-mile inner section of the Alpha Loop, which debuted on Saturday, June 1! This latest addition to the extensive multi-use path network significantly enhances connectivity in Alpharetta by linking four major activity centers: downtown Alpharetta, Avalon, the Northwinds Activity Center and the North Point Activity Center.

This strategic development promises to improve local walkability and encourage community engagement, providing residents and visitors with a scenic route through some of Alpharetta's most vibrant areas.

In a collaborative effort with the City of Alpharetta, True North 400 invested $250,000 toward the design funding for the segment of the Alpha Loop between Northwinds Parkway and Old Milton Parkway. This partnership underscores the CID’s dedication to supporting sustainable urban infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life, accessibility and mobility for the local community.

Did you know community improvement districts exist in six-year increments and hold a vote on whether to sunset or dissolve the CID?

Earlier this month, the True North 400 membership voted to continue the CID for the next six-year increment, 2027-2033. The organization is dedicated to funding and managing the most beneficial projects to improve the lives of every resident and business owner in Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell through increased mobility and accessibility.    

On Thursday, June 13, True North 400 hosted a brokers luncheon at Bask Steakhouse in partnership with Roswell Inc. This exclusive, invite-only event brought brokers together to hear from True North 400 leaders about all the district has to offer commercial property owners and tenants.

The True North 400 team had a great time getting to know those who attended and discussing how we can work together to lift our local economy and bring more businesses to the CID. Thank you to everyone who attended this event!

The Atlanta Business Chronicle released their 2024 Most Admired CEOS and Tim Perry, the True North 400 Board Chair was named as a top CEO in the commercial real estate division.  

The winners were chosen from nominations, other business leaders and previous winners in the community and this year's honorees will be recognized during the Chronicle's Most Admired CEOs event on August 15.

Get to know the newest member of the True North 400 team, Macy Fromm! Macy has joined True North 400 this summer as an intern. She is passionate about community involvement and property management. She currently handles property research, community outreach, scheduling and administrative tasks for the True North 400 team.

Macy is pursuing a BA in Finance at the University of Kentucky, where she is her sorority's treasurer and a member of the Accounting Club and Finance Society. Her past experience includes customer service at Brookfield Country Club and front desk assistance at a family medical practice. Macy enjoys cooking, spending time with loved ones and staying active.

For the Milton Historical Society President Jeff Dufresne, telling the historical story behind Milton, Georgia is a long-held mission. During the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic, Dufresne set out to accomplish one goal - interview as many people as possible to develop the story behind this great city. Around 90 residents contributed to helping Dufresne reach his goal of recognizing and appreciating Milton's historical value.

The history surrounding Milton wasn’t fully known until Dufresne and the Milton Historical Society made it their mission to uncover and preserve the stories behind the city.
