The National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) is heading to Palm Springs, California for the 2016 International Business & Leadership Conference August 23-26, 2016. The event will attract over 1,000 entrepreneurs, corporate decision-makers, affiliate chamber leaders, and government officials from across the country and around the world. The connections made at the conference can be the basis for contracting opportunities and strategic growth for years to come.

MLB Announces Partnership with LGBT-Owned Businesses

LGBT-owned businesses can begin the certification process at NGLCC.org and then register their business for contracting opportunities at Major League Baseball’s Supplier Registration Portal.

The NGLCC entered into a 20-year partnership with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to certify LGBT businesses for inclusion in their expanded Supplier Diversity Program (SDP). As part of this agreement, certified LGBTBEs are allowed the opportunity to be included in the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity Office diverse supplier list, which will be used by public entities in the Commonwealth and their prime contractors when seeking diverse business partners.

Michael Stone is Founder and CEO of Stone Search, a boutique executive search firm focused on clients’ needs for Cisco Network and VoIP Engineers, Application Developers, Senior Project Managers, as well as other IT Professionals.
Starting Stone Search in 2001 was not unexpected, Stone said. He had been an entrepreneur throughout his life, focusing on finding opportunity and filling unmet needs in the market.

The Trevor Project


The power of storytelling can be deeply moving; particularly when a well-crafted story provides us a deep insight into understanding a world outside our own and inspires us to take action. The founders of Trevor Project did just that. James Lecesne, Peggy Rajski and Randy Stone mobilized mental health professionals, initiate fundraising efforts to develop what we now know as the Trevor Lifeline, the first national crisis intervention and suicide prevention lifeline for LGBTQ young people in crisis.
