This cooperative agreement invites applications to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke for investigator-initiated, prospective observational comparative effectiveness research (CER). Studies may evaluate preventive, diagnostic, or therapeutic strategies and must demonstrate cost-effective data collection relevant to clinical practice. NSF Imposes 15% Indirect Cost Rate Cap/Temporarily Paused.
On May 2, 2025, NSF issued a Policy Notice: Implementation of Standard 15% Indirect Cost Rate (NSF 25-034) adopting a uniform 15% Indirect Cost Rate for all new NSF grants and cooperative agreements awarded to Institutions of Higher Education. NSF is temporarily pausing implementation of the NSF Policy Notice through June 13th when a hearing is scheduled to occur. READ MORE
