Wild Winter Weather
wreaked havoc on the Outer Banks last week. Are you prepared if another deep freeze rolls through? We had an extremely busy week helping folks repair leaks and broken pipes -- get ahead of old man winter by following these tips:
- Conduct your own survey of your pipes. Are there any existing leaks, drips, corrosion or rust? These issues could become potential problems if freezing temps hit our area.
- Close off any outdoor water sources (outdoor shower or other fixtures); your outdoor plumbing is the most vulnerable.
