The university extended a warm welcome to 45 youths and five chaperones from the Sister Cities U.S.-China Summit after the global IT outage stranded travelers at airports worldwide. When flights to China were canceled, Prof. Lynnette Claire reached out to Puget Sound's Dining & Event Services team for help. They quickly arranged accommodations in Thomas Hall. This swift response ensured a comfortable stay for our guests, showcasing our community's spirit of hospitality. Kudos to the entire DES team for their outstanding effort!
