   SUMMER RESIDENTS   
For those who plan to live on campus this summer, UNT housing summer applications are still open. If you are enrolled in classes during the corresponding summer housing date range, you will be placed in Joe Greene Hall according to availability. Visit the UNT housing page for more information and to apply.
Have you also considered puchasing a meal plan? Now is the time to purchase one for the summer term. Students can dine in Bruceteria and the retail restaurants on campus. Plans can be purchased at any time, but an early purchase will maximize your benefits!

   MEMORIAL DAY   
Monday, May 27, is Memorial Day, a federal holiday to commemorate those who died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. 
The university will be closed, and classes will not be held. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 28.

   MESQUITE RODEO   
The Mesquite Championship Rodeo kicks off June 1 and you’re invited! It runs every Saturday through Aug. 31, and tickets will be discounted by $15 for all UNT community members.
To receive the discount, you must purchase tickets on the Mesquite Rodeo website and enter the code UNT15 at checkout. Don’t forget to saddle up with your favorite UNT attire!

   MORE GRADUATIONS   
Local high schools are celebrating graduation ceremonies in UNT’s Coliseum through Thursday, May 30, which could impact traffic and parking on the west side of campus. Check the schedule and expect congestion near North Texas Boulevard and Bonnie Brae Street. Graduates and their guests will be parking in Lot 20 and adjacent lots.

   TWILIGHT TUNES   
Thursdays are for Twilight Tunes! This award-winning concert series lights up Downtown Denton with a new artist each week until June 20. Grab your blankets or lawn chairs and find a spot on the Courthouse Lawn at 6:30 p.m. for an evening of incredible music by local talent.

Looking to get or stay active this summer? Outdoor Pursuits, located in the Pohl Recreation Center, stays open all summer. With climbing opportunities, adventure trips, outdoor clinics and more, you’ll find so many ways to get out and get moving!

The Campus Chat Food Court is open for the summer! You can now enjoy a variety of restaurants in the University Union, including the newly added Clark Bakery. 
Also, be on the lookout for the new Chick-fil-A that opens this summer on University Union Level 1!
