MARTA’s Vision for What’s Next |
True North 400 is proud to highlight a new blog on our website from Freda Hardage of the MARTA Board of Directors, outlining how MARTA is working to take Atlanta’s transit system from “good” to “truly great” and what that means for our region.
MARTA’s mission is centered on delivering a safe, clean and reliable experience every day, and that commitment is already showing results.

| |
With enhanced safety measures, including a strong police presence and real-time monitoring, the system is becoming stronger and more dependable for riders across the region.
MARTA is also advancing several major initiatives in 2026, including the launch of new, state-of-the-art rail cars, a more seamless Breeze fare system and a complete redesign of its bus network. Notably for North Fulton, MARTA Reach, an on-demand, flexible transit option, is already rolling out, providing new first- and last-mile connectivity within our community.
Additional investments, such as station renovations and preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, are all part of a broader effort to improve the rider experience and support the region’s growth.

Breaking Ground and Moving Forward on the SR 400 Express Lanes Project |
True North 400 is proud to mark a major milestone for the SR 400 Express Lanes project, a multi-billion-dollar investment that will transform mobility, enhance connectivity, and support the continued growth of North Fulton and the greater Atlanta region. In partnership with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and SR 400 Peach Partners, True North 400 will host a ceremonial groundbreaking event on April 22 to officially launch what is the largest transportation infrastructure project in Georgia’s history.
The event will take place on the rooftop of the Avalon parking deck, offering attendees a unique vantage point overlooking a portion of the corridor where construction activity is already beginning to take shape. Governor Brian Kemp and regional leaders will share insights into the project's significance and the long-term impact it will have on improving travel along SR 400. Those planning to attend are encouraged to RSVP by April 15.
While the groundbreaking marks the official launch of the project, construction is already underway. Preparatory work began in the fall and has included tree clearing, utility relocations and early site preparation to make way for new lanes, bridges and safe work zones. As work continues to ramp up in the coming weeks, motorists and nearby communities can expect to see increased activity throughout the corridor.
To stay informed as the project progresses, residents and stakeholders are encouraged to visit the project website and subscribe for weekly traffic alerts and monthly construction updates.

A True North 400 Success Story: Vantage Building Fully Leased in Under Two Years |
True North 400 is committed to fostering an environment where businesses and commercial properties can succeed and the transformation of the Vantage building in Alpharetta is a clear example of that mission in action.
Located within the district, the Vantage building has experienced an impressive turnaround, going from just 12% occupancy to nearly 100% leased in less than two years. This revitalization brought 17 new tenants into the space and allowed investors to see returns ahead of schedule, an outcome that speaks volumes about both the redevelopment strategy and the strength of the North Fulton market.
| |
“The property also benefits from a district focused on mobility improvements, infrastructure investment and a thriving business community that supports continued growth and investment across North Fulton,” said Penn Hodge, a Vantage building owner.
