Washington County 4-H members in grades 9+ can apply for 2027 Summer Camp youth staff positions beginning Nov. 1 through Nov. 30 in 4-H Online. Camp is June 11-14, 2027, at Upham Woods. Room and meal costs are covered for youth staff by the 4-H Leaders Association.

Positions include cabin counselor, waterfront/recreation, nature, crafts, archery, and outpost. Interviews will be held the evenings of Dec. 7 and 9 in the Public Agency Center 

Adult Camp Staff applications are also open Nov. 1--Nov. 30 for approved 4-H volunteers.

All club officers should complete the Youth Officer Training registration form by Oct. 25, even if they cannot attend.

Youth Officer Training

• Oct. 29, 2026, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
• Washington County Fair Park

If an officer cannot attend, please have them register anyway and select: "I can't attend, but I'm excited to be a club officer!" This helps us keep accurate records and share important information with all officers.

All club leaders are invited to the Countywide Club Leader Meeting on Oct. 29, 6:00-7:30 p.m. at the Washington County Fair Park, held alongside Youth Officer Training.

Get county and state 4-H updates, learn about upcoming opportunities, and connect with fellow leaders. We encourage each club to send at least one representative.
