Two-Step Wellness Program Premium Incentive |
How can you get the lowest rate on your health insurance premiums this year? The Two-Step Wellness Program premium incentive offers a premium reduction of $30 per month for each individual (employees and covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care Plan) who completes their annual wellness exam and one other wellness activity on their personalized MyEvive checklist by the June 30 deadline.
To make getting your wellness exam easier, Living Well at Texas A&M is partnering with Catapult to offer on-campus exams in College Station on May 2, 3, 24 and 25, and June 6, 8, 21 and 22.

In March, Damon Slaydon, Vice President for HROE, and Ron Sorensen, Director of HROE Hub 5 – Respect, visited the Texas A&M University campus in Doha, Qatar and engaged with the nearly 500 employees from 49 different countries who support the faculty, staff and students at the campus.

University Awards Ceremony Livestream |
President M. Katherine Banks will host the inaugural University Awards Ceremony on April 24 at 11 a.m. to collectively recognize and celebrate the contributions of exceptional faculty, staff and students. While the in-person event is limited to recipients and their guests, the greater campus community is invited to watch the ceremony via livestream. A list of all 2023 honorees is also available online.

SEBAC Representative Nominations |
Nominations are now open for three individual representatives to The Texas A&M University System Employee Benefits Advisory Committee (SEBAC), one representing Texas A&M University, one representing Texas A&M Health, and new this year, one representing Texas A&M Galveston. SEBAC is an advisory group that makes recommendations on various issues relating to your employee benefits. Nominate yourself or a colleague you think would make a great candidate. Nominations close April 28.

Manager’s Minutes Coming Soon |
Are you a new manager at Texas A&M? Or maybe a seasoned manager looking to strengthen your skills? Beginning this June, HROE will host a bi-weekly Zoom call where we will share tips, best practices and offer helpful guidance related to employee and team management. Our goal is to strengthen communication and provide an opportunity for each supervisor to gain new knowledge all while enhancing the employee experience. | Open Enrollment: July 10 – 31 |
This year, the open enrollment period to review your benefits and consider any changes for the next plan year is moving to a 3-week period beginning July 10 and ending July 31. Please be sure to log into Workday and review your benefits before July 31 as no exceptions will be made to the deadline. More information related to open enrollment and the upcoming Open Enrollment Benefits Fair will be shared in the May employee update and posted online.
