CVAD'S FIRST NAMED PROGRAM
On March 29, the College of Visual Arts and Design announced the naming of the Michael W. Faircloth Fashion Design Program — the first time in CVAD's 132-year history that it has established a named program.
The honor recognizes Faircloth, a 1983 UNT graduate and renowned fashion designer, who led a $1.25 million fundraising effort to support scholarships and research. His clients have included Cher and former First Lady Laura Bush.
"I want our program at UNT to continue to be at the forefront of fashion design and teaching students how to design clothing, be wonderful artists and express themselves," says Faircloth.
