Dear Friends and Partners,
After more than 20 transformative years with True North 400, formerly the North Fulton Community Improvement District, it is with deep gratitude that I announce my resignation to begin to serve our nation as the next U.S. Treasurer, a role I am humbled to accept. While head of the CID since 2003, I spent over 20 years working on behalf of the district. This is the place I call home and have been proud to serve.

This new chapter brings immense responsibility, possibility and much reflection. True North 400 has been more than a professional endeavor. Working alongside visionary city leaders, dedicated staff, committed board members and an engaged business community, together, we have manifested our vision of a more accessible and mobile district into reality, helping invest more than $30 million in infrastructure, resulting in more than $217 million in new investment across Alpharetta, Roswell and Milton. Those numbers reflect more than an investment though - they represent progress, a growing community and a shared commitment to shaping a stronger and more resilient future for North Fulton.

Being the executive director of True North 400, along with representing my district in the Georgia State Senate, has been a cherished privilege. Whether by advancing critical transportation improvements or improving connectivity throughout our district or passing critical legislation, it has required partnerships with a shared belief to advance this area and create a sense of community pride.
As I step into a new national role, I carry with me the lessons, relationships and momentum we’ve built together. I am confident that True North 400’s best days are still ahead. The leadership within this organization is strong, and there is no doubt that the next chapter will be defined by continued innovation and positive impacts on the cities of Alpharetta, Milton and Roswell.
I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the stakeholders, colleagues, employers and residents who have made this journey so rewarding. Your trust and collaboration have meant the world to me and my family, and I am deeply grateful for your support.
I will always call Alpharetta home. Though I’ll be serving on a more visible stage, North Fulton will always have my heart.
With heartfelt gratitude and anticipation for what lies ahead,
Brandon L. Beach

Milton Seeks Community Feedback on Athletic Complex at Deerfield Parkway |
|
|
Milton is one step closer to addressing the city's growing demand for youth sports facilities with its proposed athletic complex on Deerfield Parkway, and the city is asking for your input.
During a March open house, residents, youth athletes and city officials gathered to weigh in on the vision for the 24-acre site, which will include four baseball diamonds and two rectangular multi-use fields. Wetland environmental features on the site have prompted a redesign, leading the city to purchase an additional three acres to accommodate amenities and improve parking access.
Now, Milton officials and design partner Lose Design are seeking public input to help prioritize features. Residents can share their preferences on what’s most important: more parking, an inclusive playground, pickleball courts or preserving the fourth baseball diamond.
