Friends and family at the Summer Soar Party
   SUMMER SOAR PARTY   
Do you have family and friends who want to be part of the Mean Green Family? Let them know there’s still time to register for this year’s Summer Soar Party! Show off your UNT pride at Grandscape in The Colony from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 23.
This family-oriented event offers food, music, outdoor activities for all ages, and a chance for interested students to experience UNT spirit firsthand while getting helpful info about everything we have to offer and an opportunity to apply on-site.

   JOBS ON CAMPUS   
If you’re looking for a job, great opportunities are available at UNT. Student employees have flexible working hours, and positions are catered to class schedules. The most common positions are office assistants, food service workers, student assistants, academic assistants and tutors.
The first step to finding an on-campus job is joining Handshake. This career website is a great place to find regular hourly jobs, work study positions and internships.

UNT alum Lori Rohloff-Peek transforms her battle with Huntington's disease into powerful artistry! Her new exhibition at the UNT CoLab will feature portraits, abstracts and collages July 12-27. The opening reception is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 12.

   SQUARE-D EXHIBITION   
Speaking of the CoLab, an opening reception for the Square-d community exhibition will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 2.
It's not too late to create artwork — any medium is welcome. Just pay $5 for a blank 8-by-8-inch canvas at the CoLab and return your completed artwork incorporating the canvas by Saturday, July 27. The art in the exhibition, which runs Aug. 2-31, will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the UNT Food Pantry presented by Kroger. Buy your canvas today and get your creativity flowing.

Parking permits
   PARKING PERMITS ON SALE   
All parking permits for the 2024-2025 academic year are available for purchase! Permits for commuters, Highland Street Garage users and Greek life students are for sale starting today.
If you'll be living on campus, consider getting your resident permit soon. Certain lots are still available through the UNT Parking Portal.

   MEAN GREEN FLING TABLING   
Calling all student organizations! Student Activities invites you to showcase your group at Mean Green Fling on Wednesday, Aug. 14. Sign up for a table to promote your organization by July 28. Space is limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit the Mean Green Fling page for details and to submit your application today.
