IRB Resources Available
Did you know that ORSP has IRB resources available on its website? All IRB guidance that has been developed since SHSU first launched Cayuse Human Ethics (IRB) can be found on the IRB website.
These resources are provided to you, so you never have to depend on an email reminder from the IRB office when action needs to be taken on a particular study approval. Since it is the PI's responsibility for knowing when to take that action, all that is needed is ensuring you review the Cayuse notifications coming into your SHSU inbox. Those notifications are the key indicator at knowing when to submit a renewal or closure of your study.
For questions, or more information about IRB resources, please contact Ms. Sharla Miles (ext. 4-4875).

During the workshop, you can expect to learn more about:
- Major building blocks of a grant proposal – hypotheses, aims, significance, and objectives
- Importance of preliminary data for an external grant proposals
- How the literature review for a grant proposal could turn out to be the precursors of a review/conceptual article
