Exemplary Student Service Award Winner
Congratulations to the 2018 Exemplary Student Service Award winner, Brandon Schloss! Brandon was selected by a panel of National Student of the Year Award recipients for his work with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Gang Prevention Unit, his experience as an ambassador for the National Campaign to Stop Violence, and for his efforts with Stomp Out Bullying to raise awareness about bullying and cyberbullying prevention.
A Chance to Grow + Network
The second annual NSDA National Conference is fast approaching! We hope you will join us July 28-31 in Phoenix, Arizona, for a chance to network and learn from other speech and debate educators in person. Sessions will focus on teaching debate in isolated areas, units and lesson plans for any speech and debate classroom, empowering your team with technology, tapping into leadership potential, and so much more.

Student Membership » Advisors, please take a few minutes today to register your students for a lifetime membership! Our honor society is a powerful mechanism for students to earn distinction among their peers for their commitment to speaking, debating, and interpreting literature.
Coach and Principal of the Year » Nominate an outstanding coach or administrator at both the high school and middle school levels to be considered for the following prestigious, national awards. Be sure to review the criteria online and start gathering both letters of recommendation now, well ahead of the April 6 deadline!
