What are key aspects of your role?
Allen has championed innovation for nationally-recognized, award-winning Student Affairs units in the areas of student life, diversity, alumni relations, and career development. Allen’s range of responsibilities include the NYU International Student Meeting Initiative (ISM) program; with more than 2,500 international students interviewed, the program provides Student Affairs units, colleagues, and faculty with recommendations in support of international student life success and community building at NYU. He also serves as the subcommittee chair on Global Cultural Competency and Language Initiatives, a component of the Student Affairs NYU Professional Development Committee, and as a member of the Internationalizing Washington Square All-University Committee and the NYU Veterans Working Group.
