Three, two, one, ignition!
Tulsa Air and Space Museum visitors can now experience the thrill and complexity of flying a space shuttle using a cockpit simulator designed and built by four electrical and computer engineering seniors. At the model's recent unveiling during the Aviator Ball, all eyes were on Shuttle Commander Jim Wetherbee and Shuttle Pilot Paul Lockhart as they used the new technology to return the craft safely back to earth.

Bertaux will soon be leaving for Spain and Fusco is looking forward to heading south to Paraguay.

"Accessible" and "immediate," yet also "often misunderstood" and "slippery" – that's how Associate Professor Dan Farnum describes photography, his chosen artistic medium. In recent work, Farnum has focused his lenses on urban subjects, documenting people and landscapes that evince a similar enigmatic instability. This includes portraits from his homestate of Michigan as well as sites of memory, violence and reinvention across Tulsa.
