Please be sure you read the new policy for unlocking buildings or offices that addresses the growing number of lockouts, diverting police officers and public safety personnel from their core responsibilities. As of Sept. 1, a lock out fee and associated expenses will be charged by Key Control to the person or department requesting the service. This revised billing structure is designed to provide greater accuracy, transparency, and equity in service-related charges. UTA marks 35 years of the ADA with action and impact
|
The Americans with Disabilities Act, a landmark civil rights law that prohibits discrimination based on disability, marked its 35th anniversary on July 26. Signed into law in 1990 and strengthened by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, the legislation ensures equal access to employment, education, public services, and more. At UTA, the ADA’s core principles are deeply embedded in the institution’s history and daily operations. Read more.
