Sorority and Fraternity Recruitment/Intake

January will mark the beginning of the recruitment and intake process for Duke University Greek-letter organizations. The webinar below – recorded on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 – covers the process for joining fraternities and sororities, how families can support their students during that process, what support the university provides, and answers to common concerns parents and families have about fraternity or sorority membership.

Non-Greek Selective Living Groups (SLGs) will also recruit new members upon students' return to campus in January. Student leadership from each SLG choose to participate in either a two-week or three-week recruitment schedule. Recruitment will occur January 7-20 and January 9-27 with bids being offered on the last day of each recruitment timeline. If you or your student have questions, please contact Housing Assignments.
