July 6, 2021
Dear Colleagues:
Last week, we continued our series of weekly drawings for our employee COVID-19 vaccination incentive program, as I randomly selected four eligible employees who received incentives.
I would like to congratulate the employees selected in the second round:
- Vinayak Tanksale: $100 bookstore voucher
- Linda Morrison: $100 Tech Store voucher
- Sandra Wilburn: $100 general parking permit
- Maralee Clayton: $100 in campus dining cash
Please join Paula Luff, our Vice President for Enrollment Planning and Management, at noon on Wednesday, July 7, this week at bsu.edu/live as she helps select our next group of eligible employees. This week we’ve added some exciting one-time benefits in addition to the four weekly incentives listed above. These exclusive benefits include one all-access parking permit (valued at $650), one garage parking permit (valued at $469), and one culinary class session with Jason Reynolds, our assistant director for University Catering.
As a reminder, if you have not been vaccinated for COVID-19, or are yet to verify your vaccination on our website, we encourage you to do so by close of business today to be eligible for tomorrow’s drawing. If you are eligible for the incentives, your name will be included in each drawing every week, unless you have been selected in previous drawings. Employees who are selected for an additional incentive will not be included in the pool for subsequent drawings.
To qualify for our all-employee incentive program, employees should receive their vaccine before August 1, and then complete the online form by August 31. Our incentive program includes the choice of one of two benefits for all full- and part-time vaccinated employees: a one-time $100 credit off our healthcare premium or four additional hours of paid leave. The weekly incentives are in addition to these choices.
We are grateful to all of our vaccinated employees, whose cooperation and discipline have allowed us to have a more traditional, on-campus experience. We encourage you to read our updated employee COVID-19 Response Plan for the Fall semester.
Sincerely,
