The Center for Student Support facilitates student journeys toward wellness and belonging. Staff supports the whole student, offering resources like a food pantry, clothing closet, and lending library and helping students access assistance programs like SNAP. The center also hosts a peer-to-peer support group, which provides a safe place for students to be heard and learn about healthy relationships. This center's dedication to overall care ensures your student can focus on their studies with the support and respect they need to thrive at Puget Sound.

Meet Tiffany Williams and William Holland, Puget Sound’s student success coaches! They guide first-year and transfer students, serving as a helpful resource for academic and personal success and connecting students to various campus departments. Think of them as navigators, steering students new to Puget Sound toward the support they need.
Tiffany and William are all about:
|
- Building collaborative relationships with students to foster success.
- Empowering students to advocate for themselves by nurturing relationships with peers and staff.
- Breaking the stigma around seeking help. They’ve been reaching out since day one and encourage everyone to drop by their space.

Fall semester wraps up next week! As your student completes their last assignments and gets ready to leave campus, here are some reminders and dates to mark on your calendar:

CHWS will be closed between Dec. 22 and Jan. 2. Emails, phone calls, and communication portal messages will not be checked or answered during this time. Please plan ahead for any prescription refills or other needs.
During the break, students may use the MultiCare NurseLine 253.693.7713 or their insurance provider’s nurse line (located on the back of your insurance card) for medical guidance. For mental health support during the break, students are encouraged to take advantage of online mental health resources through Uwill and TAO.
