FAQ: I have a vendor/exhibitor who's not selling anything. Do they still need a business license? |
Yes. All businesses and organizations attending special events in the City of Boulder are required to obtain a license prior to the event start. Even if no sales are made, a license is required. Special Event licenses are free for all out-of-city vendors. Please note that businesses based in Boulder are required to maintain a business license.

Our office has been working closely with the City of Denver Office of Special Events and other regional partners to create a new Event Emergency Action Plan (EAP) Template, Guide, and Toolkit, developed for the UASI North Central Region. These resources are created to help event planners develop and implement strong EAPs. We expect to roll them out later this fall - stay tuned for more information.

| Parking Services Requests
|
The Access and Parking Services Application covers requests to use public parking spaces and parking officers at your event. Later this year, this application will be integrated into Eproval, making the process smoother and more efficient for applicants. More details to come.

The Boulder County Film Commission is launching the brand-new Boulder Creative Directory - a resource showcasing creative digital professionals in the area, along with their support services. With the Sundance Film Festival approaching, this directory will help spotlight local talent and partners. This is a great opportunity to get involved if you're a filmmaker, photographer, graphic or web designer, or offer essential support services like catering, lodging, screening rooms, or transportation.
