"The advent of AI agents based on large language models (e.g., ChatGPT) has received significant attention from society, but it may have problems if we deploy them directly into real scenarios. For example, language models may hallucinate, to generate factually incorrect statements, therefore limiting the users' trust. In addition, if complex tasks require human-AI collaboration, we will see that sometimes the human starts the task, and the model understands the intent of the human and completes the task, which requires higher standards for model reliability. "
—Assistant Professor of Computer Science Zhao Chen, speaking in the Meet OUR Faculty Series "Embrace Large Language Models into Real Scenarios"
