Dear Andover families:
We still have some families receiving phishing emails asking for tuition payments to be sent to a non-Academy address. Thank you to those who continue to make us aware of these phishing incidents. We continue to investigate here on campus and with outside consultation, but have found no evidence of a breach, so we suspect these fraudulent emails are being sent using publicly available information.
The Academy primarily accepts payments through FACTS. For international transactions, we encourage using Convera in collaboration with FACTS or Flywire. Checks or direct wire transfers are also accepted, but please note that we will not provide wire instructions via email. Instructions for sending a direct wire transfer to Andover, will be added to The Hive. Please disregard any communications asking for payments to alternate accounts or via ACH. Never trust such requests via email; instead, check the parent portal for any updates.
Lastly, always look carefully to ensure that email is coming from andover.edu. Some fake emails are being sent using email addresses/domains that are spelled differently to confuse end users. You have our contact information in the registration materials you received so you should use those phone numbers to reach out if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Andrew Gagnon
