Earthfest at UNT
   CELEBRATE OUR PLANET AT EARTHFEST
You’re invited to UNT’s Earth Day celebration! Since the 1930s, our university has supported environmental research and education — and EarthFest is our way of honoring that Mean Green legacy.
Join us from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24, on the Library Mall for live entertainment, local vendors, eco-friendly products and plant-based bites. To keep things green, recycling and composting will be available on-site. If it rains, the event will move to the University Union Emerald and Jade Ballrooms 314 and 333.
For those at Discovery Park, there will be free plants in CG130 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 24 for you to take home!
Graduates at commencement
   BORROW FREE REGALIA
If you’re graduating this semester, Mean Green Gowns for Grads has free undergraduate regalia available to borrow for Spring 2025 Commencement. Pick up a cap, gown and tassel from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, May 2, at the Diamond Eagle Student Resource Center. No application is needed, but supplies are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. All regalia must be returned by Wednesday, May 14.
If you already have your regalia, consider donating it to the program after commencement to help future graduates. You may drop it off at DESRC or University Union 409 or mail it to Mean Green Gowns for Grads at 1155 Union Circle #305008, Denton, Texas 76203.

Check your contact information and update it if needed on the profile tab of my.unt.edu to ensure you receive the test messages and future alerts.
