Announcing the 2020 National Educator of the Year
Our 2020 National Educator of the Year is Christy Briggs of Reno High School in Nevada! In addition to her speech and debate role, she is also the English Department Leader and advisor for the school newspaper. Congrats, Christy!

Check out Informative Speaking!

In Informative Speaking, students author and deliver a ten-minute speech on a topic of their choosing. Competitors create the speech to educate the audience on a particular topic. All topics must be informative in nature; the goal is to educate, not to advocate. Check out three examples from the 2019 National Tournament final round below!
