-
ADA Accommodation Requests: Contact Dr. Paul Porter at paul.porter@speechanddebate.org.
- General Help During the Tournament:
-
Key sources of information are the Nats23 Guidebook app (released in June) and the Nationals website (speechanddebate.org/nationals).
- Follow signs to stop by the Tournament Office in person at any competition venue.
If you are unable to visit the Tournament Office, email the NSDA Helpline at info@speechanddebate.org for remote assistance. Emails sent after 7:00 p.m. MT will be responded to the following day, with the exception of Tuesday evening during supplemental re-registration through 10:00 p.m. MT.
-
Concerns About How Someone is Being Treated: Visit the Belonging and Inclusion Station, formerly known as the Equity Office, for support or to file a complaint if an individual feels an instance of harassment and/or discrimination has occurred.

Free wifi will be available for attendees at the Phoenix Convention Center. At school venues, users will sign in to the network NSDA-MPS with the password NSDA2023!
Remember, use of the internet is permitted during round in Congress, Extemp prep, and debate (excluding World Schools). No electronic devices are permitted in World Schools rounds. This means that students will not be reading arguments off of their laptops, even in prepared rounds. The only exception is that a cell phone in airplane mode can be used for timing only. Please come prepared with your materials printed, as we will not have printers available at the competition venue. Please review the "Current Guidelines for Use of Internet-Enabled Devices" in the Unified Manual.

Upcoming Judge Swap Window
|
You will be able to check your school’s judging assignments by day and event during the Judging Swap Window from Thursday, June 8 through Saturday, June 10 at 12:00 p.m. (noon) MT. There is no way to enter judge availability until the window opens. During the swap window, you will have a limited ability to swap your judges in Tabroom between the days your school has been assigned to accommodate their availability and ensure all of the days your school is obligated to judge in an event are covered. We understand that it can be hard to manage judge schedules, and we hope that this process will allow you the flexibility to schedule judging on the days and in the buildings that work best for you and your team! We will notify you when the window opens. Learn more about judging requirements »
