Save the Date: Experiential Learning Fair (ELF) to Be Held March 21-April 1
Students will have the opportunity to learn about LLS' 20+ clinics, field placements and practica at the Experiential Learning Fair (also known as ELF) being held virtually March 21-April 1. The clinics will host an Open House on March 29 to provide interested students an opportunity to meet clinical faculty and staff, check out the Loyola Social Justice Law Clinic space and nosh on free treats. In addition to learning more about the programs themselves, both of these events will offer details on program admissions processes (enrollment for many is by application only, due April 4).

Public Interest Festival to Feature On-Campus Sessions
The Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) will host its inaugural Public Interest Palooza festival on Saturday, March 26 from 2-6 p.m. The afternoon will feature a range of public-interest lawyering skills workshops: Mastering Non-verbal Communication in the Courtroom; Vicarious Trauma & Trauma-Informed Lawyering; Advocating for Juvenile Clients Roundtable; Getting Jurors to Open up About Bias; Managing Microaggressions in the Workplace & Overcoming Ally Pitfalls; Achieving Housing Justice. Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) Seeks Support for Summer Work
The law school's Public Interest Law Foundation (PILF) has embarked on a campaign to support students working in summer public interest positions, often pro bono. "Donors have always been the backbone of how we help students pay for food, housing and transportation while working," said PILF fundraising co-chair André K. Enriquez '23, noting the program started in 1993. "Your donations can be the difference in a student committing to the work they love and kickstarting a career of giving back to the communities who need us most," continued Mariana Ortega.
