Research Security and Integrity Training
The Fiscal Year 2026-2027 Research Security and Integrity Training (RSIT) will be rolled out soon to meet the RSIT Policy. Please be on the lookout for an email on May 1, 2026 announcing the May 1, 2026 through June 30, 2026 training period. Please do not complete the 2026-2027 training before May 1, or you may be required to repeat the training. As in fiscal year 2025-2026, awards may be held if training of all individuals on the award is not complete. Proposal submissions may also be held until training is completed due to changes in federal regulations in the last year.
Grants Information
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) issued a notice, ‘Applicability of Transparency Act Subaward Reporting Requirements (NOT-OD-26-066)’ reminding the research community of ‘longstanding subaward and executive compensation reporting requirements of the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (FFATA).’
The NIH posted ‘An Update on Modernizing the NIH Grants and Funding Site’ with the ‘aim to make it easier’ for researchers to access the information needed to ‘apply for, manage, and steward NIH funding’. The post includes what the modernization effort means, the goals of the modernization effort, the changes that are in place and what is coming next.
