Understanding Grades in Canvas

As Finals Week signals the end of this semester, you may be wondering what your final grades are. While curves, extra credit points, and unreleased (muted) grades may not be fully accounted for in the Canvas Gradebook, Canvas grades are a good way to gauge your final grade in the class.
Remember, your final grade will likely not be reflected in Canvas, but instead in CIS. If you have any questions about your grades or don’t understand why your grades were calculated as they were, please contact your instructor.
For more information about the Canvas Gradebook and how to view your grades, read these help articles from Instructure’s Help Center: How to View Grades in a Current Course and How to View Grades in a Concluded Course.
