Complimentary Move-In Day Luncheon Tickets

Dear Members of the Vanderbilt Class of 2029,

The entire Vanderbilt community looks forward to welcoming you to campus in less than a month! Our excitement stems not only from the joy of finally meeting you, but also from the deep sense of tradition that Move-In Day represents. It is a hallmark moment at Vanderbilt, when faculty, staff and upper-division students from across campus come together to celebrate your arrival. Move-In Day also marks the official launch of CommonVU Orientation.

As a special part of the Move-In Day experience on Saturday, August 16, Vanderbilt Campus Dining will offer a complimentary luncheon for you and your guests in The Commons Center Dining Hall. Get ready to kick off your Vanderbilt culinary adventure with a delicious lunch featuring something for everyone: pizza and pasta, pub favorites, southern BBQ, power plant (Halal and allergen friendly), beverages, desserts and more! Posted signage throughout the dining hall will help guide you to each station.

You and up to three guests* are invited to enjoy lunch anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. To reserve your required digital tickets for entry, please follow the steps below:

You must sign in using your VUnetID to reserve tickets. While the site may reference a “purchase,” there is no charge for this event.

*If you plan to bring more than three guests on Move-In Day, please email commons@vanderbilt.edu to request additional tickets.
