As we approach midterms, and in light of the ongoing conflict in Gaza, I hope everyone will take advantage of the campus resources available for self care.
Campus Safety and Well-BeingYour safety and wellbeing is important to us! If anyone is experiencing distress or has concerns about their safety, please encourage them to utilize university resources available through The Wellness Exchange or Campus Safety. There are helpful tips for navigating the campus, and for all urgent security issues requiring immediate attention from Campus Safety, or to report an incident, please contact the Campus Safety Communications Center at 212.998.2222 (Save this number on your phone!).

Spring 24 RegistrationSpring 2024 course schedules are now live and the registration period will officially open Monday, November 13. Don't forget to plan your Spring courses and also be cleared for registration. Remember, you will not be able to register unless the advisor's hold is removed from your Albert account. Please carefully read the instructions to have your advisor hold removed for Spring registration.

Steinhardt Curricular Practical Training Workshop (CPT)
Join the Office of Global Services for a conversation about off-campus employment tied to internships, practicums and fieldwork that relates to your degree at NYU Steinhardt. The workshop will cover eligibility, application process, and other details about Curricular Practical Training (CPT). This workshop is highly recommended for students interested in Spring and Summer 2024 internships and field work opportunities.

Wasserman Internship GrantDid you know that you know that the Wasserman Center provides an Internship Grant that provides financial assistance to students pursuing unpaid internships? The internships can be during the academic year or summer in industries such as such as non-profits, the arts, fashion, media and journalism that do not traditionally pay their interns. The Wasserman Center offers $1,200 grants during the fall and spring semesters, and $2,000 grants during the summer. This grant is competitive and students should learn more here.

NYU SSLD FellowshipThe NYU Social Sector Leadership Diversity Fellowship (SSLD) is an 18-month leadership development program that supports NYU’s BIPOC graduate students in leveraging their skills, knowledge and networks to influence positive change in the social sector. The application for the 2024-2025 cohort will open in November 2023. Please sign up for the Changemaker Center newsletter to receive an update when the application launches.
