Emotional communication between infants and caregivers has similar properties as their early vocal exchanges. This analogy affords the application of language theories to emotional development. First, we will consider the theoretical implications this framework has for early learning about objects. Second, we will demonstrate how methodologies common in language research can be applied to analyze toddlers’ emotion vocalization dynamics in early care and education settings.

Natural History Museum of Utah
Our Latinx alumni chapter is hosting a student to alumni networking social with special guest Senator Escamilla. We will have a distinguished group of Latinx alumni from different professional fields to connect, network and hopefully mentor current University students. We will get to hear from Senator Escamilla and the importance and responsibility to reinvest out time and resources to our community.
