SBU Chosen as Anchor for World-leading Climate Center on Governors Island!

On April 24, NYC Mayor Eric Adams and The Trust for Governors Island announced that SBU will serve as the anchor institution for developing The New York Climate Exchange – a first-of-its-kind international center for developing/deploying dynamic solutions to our global climate crisis. It's a huge win for the University and NY State and it's all recapped here, with many more updates to come as we move forward.
