Co-learning in action with Andrew Greenberg |
In a lab tucked beneath the Engineering Building, Andrew Greenberg is approaching teaching a little differently.
Rather than starting with a known outcome, he brings students into a process of discovery—working alongside them to tackle highly complex, open-ended projects. Together, they iterate and problem-solve. This is a process he sees as strong preparation for the kinds of challenges students will face after PSU.
It’s a model that can translate across disciplines. Watch our recent tour of the Rocket Room with Andrew Greenberg to see how he structures learning around uncertainty and how this approach might translate to other courses.

Transitioning student portfolios from PebblePad to Google Sites |
We’re beginning the transition from PebblePad to Google Sites as our supported platform for student portfolios at PSU. Google Sites offers a flexible, easy-to-use way for students to build and share their work—using tools they’re often already familiar with through Google Workspace.
If you currently use PebblePad for student portfolios, we’ll support you in helping students transition their work or design new portfolio approaches in Google Sites.
To get started, join our hands-on workshop, Using Google Sites for Portfolios, on May 22, where we’ll walk through how students can create effective portfolios in Google Sites and share strategies for integrating portfolios into your course.

Simple steps for accessible audio and video |
Making your audio and video content accessible helps ensure all students can fully engage with your course—whether they’re watching in a noisy environment, reviewing material on the go, or using assistive technology.
This practical guide highlights a few high-impact ways to improve accessibility, from adding captions and transcripts to describing key visuals and recording with clarity in mind. Even small adjustments here can make a meaningful difference for your students.
