Members of the media are invited to cover a special awards presentation on Thursday, June 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at the West Steps of the Capitol.
During this special media event, the California State Fair will recognize the Best of Show winners from the 2019 Commercial Wine, Beer, Cheese, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil competitions. State Senators and Assemblymembers from each winner's respective district are invited to present awards as the legislative schedule allows. Below is a full list of the winners.

Members of the media are also invited to cover (and sample!) the winning products at the Best of California Tasting Reception later that evening at the Cal Expo Fairgrounds. The Tasting Reception takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. This is a special event held prior to the annual CA State Fair Gala, which recognizes the 2019 scholarship recipients and raises funds for future scholarships. This year, more than $51,000 in scholarships was given to 25 students.
