Planning Fall Research or Teaching? |
We hope you're staying cool (and dry!) in this wild Texas summer—and enjoying your well-earned summer break.
As we approach the halfway mark of summer, it’s the perfect time to begin preparations for the Fall 2025 semester (effective September 1, 2025).
If you're planning to start a new grant or continue your sponsored research this fall, be sure to submit your EPAF (Electronic Personnel Action Form) correctly, including the proper routing queue.
👉 Start with your department admin: they’re your first stop for getting things moving.
👉 Need guidance? Contact your Grant Accountant or email us at ora@shsu.edu for help with:
• Effort percentages
• Salary amounts or limitations
• Eligible grant personnel
• Budget availability
• Any other EPAF-related questions
Important Reminder: Add Susan Hurley (sdh037) under “Research Administration” in the routing queue so your EPAF is routed through ORA for timely processing.
Wishing you a productive end to summer and a smooth start to the fall!
