STS Graduate Student Spring Social

Stanford Graduate Students are invited to join us for our Spring social event. At least one free drink for the first 20 people to arrive, courtesy of STS. Please be sure to bring your ID if you plan for that drink to contain alcohol. Come to meet people interested in STS, get some STS swag, and network! STS Senior Dinner

The STS Senior Dinner is an incredible once-in-a-lifetime event, and virtually every STS senior attends. Paul Holland & Linda Yates, friends of STS, have welcomed us back again to their private Portola Valley home, TAH.MAH.LAH, for this year's dinner. The Holland-Yates residence was built to be the greenest custom home in America and is completely wired with the latest clean technology advancements. NASA-USRA Simulation and Data Science Support Intern

The objective of this internship is to support the research and development efforts towards smart unmanned aerial systems operations in integrated airspace. Specific tasks involve actionable data & analytics provisioning, distributed decision making in dynamic airspace, and interactive visualization of advanced aerial mobility operations. Desired skills include Python, Unity, cloud deployment, docker container, and front-end app development.

Summer Resident Assistant

The Office of Graduate Education team is currently seeking a part-time temporary Summer Resident Assistant (SRA) to join a passionate and value-driving team in an exciting and dynamic work environment to assist in the resident hall for visiting undergraduate summer researchers. Summer Resident Assistants are employees of Stanford University. The positions are part-time and tasked at 20 hours per week from June 22 to August 17.

Environmental Science Intern

eDNA Explorer is seeking an Environmental Science Intern to participate in a collaborative project focused on creating scientific models of ecosystem health. The intern will work closely with another intern specializing in machine learning to complete a critical project by the end of the summer. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about applying their ecological and biological knowledge to real-world environmental challenges using innovative technologie and a large dataset.

My Climate Story Workshop

The Division of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages is inviting Stanford undergraduate students to participate in a “My Climate Story” workshop with Professor Bethany Wiggin from the University of Pennsylvania. The My Climate Story project is a public research initiative that aims to promote climate conversations and encourages individuals to reflect on the impact of global climate change on a personal level. There are 20 spots available for undergraduate students interested in learning about climate change literacy and storytelling. RSVP here.

Stanford Ecopreneurship Programs is a new partnership between the Doerr School of Sustainability and the Graduate School of Business, whose mission is to address current global climate and sustainability challenges and create a future where humans and nature thrive in concert and in perpetuity.
