Don't Lose Access

On Wednesday, March 20, the University will begin the new Account Lifecycle Deletion Process.

• Google and Box accounts owned by individuals who left the University will be deleted.

• These accounts currently contain files still in use. The ONLY WAY to secure your content is to move it to a shared drive.

Keep reading for everything you need to know about securing your files.

If you have shared files and folders in Box that could be owned by an inactive account, this is what you need to do:

1. Identify your vulnerable files.

3. Move vulnerable files to the group account to preserve access.

If you have shared files and folders in Google Drive that could be owned by an inactive account, this is what you need to do:

1. Identify your vulnerable files.

2. Move vulnerable files to Google Shared Drive.

TIP: Use Labels to identify files pending deletion.
