A Busy Start to Spring: The Runoff Election and The Exchange 2015
2015 Runoff Election: It’s up to you to make your voice heard.
Grace Period Voting and Early Voting will continue to be offered through Saturday, April 4.  Election Day is April 7.  You can vote early downtown at the Museum of Broadcast and Communications at 360 N. State Street.
If you have any questions regarding Grace Period Voting, Early Voting, your registration status, or the location of polling places, please visit our Election Information Center.
Let’s elect a Mayor who will drive our city, economy and people forward.
If you read the Chicago Tribune, you may have seen this Letter to the Editor published in Tuesday’s print edition: Rahm Emanuel still best choice for Chicago.
The letter reiterates our support for the candidate with a proven track record in attracting new businesses, creating jobs and making tough decisions.  Mayor Emanuel has the focus to fix our financial problems, most notably the $20 billion pension crisis.  He has the talent to continue improving our education system and preparing our future workforce with his pre-kindergarten and STEM education initiatives.  And he has the drive to maintain the economic growth we enjoyed during his first four years in office.
Networking, connections and fun: The Exchange 2015
If you’re a fan of our popular Business After Business networking events, you don’t want to miss our largest networking event of the year: The Exchange 2015 on April 15 at the Hilton Chicago.  The networking opportunities on the tradeshow floor are second to none, with nearly 1,000 professionals from all industries in attendance and great food and drink to enjoy as you browse the exhibits.  Click here to see a list of the companies you’ll be able to connect with at The Exchange 2015.
We also have an all-star cast of panelists for our Made in Chicago keynote, featuring homegrown success stories from Chicago’s food and beverage industry who will share real-world advice on starting and growing a business in Chicago. The panelists are:
  • Bob Jensen, Co-Founder and Owner of Argus Brewery
  • R.J. Melman, Managing Partner for several Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises (LEYE) restaurants
  • Marc Schulman, President of The Eli's Cheesecake Company
  • Alejandro Silva, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Evans Food Group Ltd.
I want to thank all of our exhibitors and sponsors, especially our Silver Sponsor, Live Nation and our Bronze Sponsor, BKD LLP, for their support. We look forward to seeing you at The Exchange 2015.
