Longwood Gardens

Longwood from Home

With April just around the corner, we hope you’re delighting in the signs of spring all around us. In this edition of Longwood from Home, we invite you to join us for free concerts, fountains, and fun with our Members-only Hours this summer. Also, discover discounts from local garden centers and nurseries, register for our free virtual Community Read events, learn more about turf care in our upcoming Members-only talk, and more.

Join Our Online Community Read Conversations
Join us online for these two free, engaging Community Read conversations. Registration is required.

Trees Living in Cities: April 21 from 6:30-7:45 pm. Join Community Read author David Haskell, Georgia Silvera Seamans of the Washington Square Park Eco Projects, and Jessica Turner-Skoff of The Morton Arboretum as they discuss how trees in bustling cities use their embodied network to contribute to the life of humans.

Then, learn mowing and watering techniques, fertilizer applications, weed and pest control measures, and best practices to improve your yard.
