Prepare for your ProctorU Midterms

Midterm season is coming up. How many of your courses this semester will use ProctorU for midterm exams? ProctorU is an online service for students taking home exams, and while it is a convenient option for secure testing, it requires students to prepare prior to their exam start dates to ensure the online proctoring runs smoothly.

Identify now whether your exams require ProctorU, as you must set up the service before taking the exam. If you haven’t already set up your ProctorU account and browser plug-in, waiting until the last minute could mean experiencing tech troubles and other preventable exam-related stress.

Confronting Our Racism

Friday, September 25, 1-3 PM
Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion is taking a stand against racism and bringing the University of Utah to the forefront of the conversation through the launch of the Friday Forum series on Racism in Higher Education.

Each month we will lead national conversations with the goal of helping attendees start on a journey to eradicate racism and share best practices for sustained growth and action.

The first installation, “Confronting Our Racism” will include a panel hosted by President Watkins with special guests, noted historian, Dr. Nell Irvin Painter and political strategist and CNN commentator, Bakari Sellers.

Following the panel, University of Utah attendees will have the opportunity to join one of the following breakout sessions to discuss how to move forward:
  • Let’s Get Started
    • How to begin the journey towards anti-racism.
  • Hear Us
    • Breaking down the systemic racism that impacts our communities.
  • Moving the Needle
    • Modeling action-based and transformative initiatives
