Congrats to those of you completing your very first (or last!) fall quarter. With winter break right around the corner, I know this is a hectic time for students, so I hope the information in this newsletter is helpful!
Food security is the last thing students should be worried about while they're studying for finals, so please take advantage of our on-campus resources. Check out http://food.ucsb.edu for information on what's available.

The UC Santa Barbara Alumni Association Awards Committee is once again accepting applicants for its Legacy Scholarship award (valued at $2,000 per year. The LGBTQ Mentoring Program connects lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer and questioning undergraduate/graduate students with LGBTQ-identified faculty, staff, and graduate student mentors. The program aims to be a valuable resource for support, guidance, and information for LGBTQ students.

The purpose of this study is to understand the unique experiences college students may have in dealing with the long-term impact of natural disasters, such as the fire and mudslide that impacted this area.
