Did you know that we've been in school for over 100 days?  Tuesday was the 100th day of school and Kindergarten and 1st Grade celebrated the day in their own special ways.  Kindergarten made projects that demonstrated 100 things and celebrated with a yummy cake.  1st Grade dressed up like they were 100 years old!  What a fun day!
The 9/10 boys basketball team has had a great season.  They have practiced hard, played hard, and worked together as a team.  It has been an amazing first season and we are so proud of how much they have grown!  A HUGE thank you goes out to Coach Ben Kane-Eames and Coach Tony Duenas for all of their hard work this season!
EC4 students have been learning about how to keep their bodies healthy.  This week they learned about different body parts, healthy eating, and the importance of exercise.  They rolled a movement cube and had to act out the different exercises.  The two class favorites were waddling like a duck and walking like an Egyptian!
DAY OF LEARNING
Today's Torah learning is sponsored in honor of Eitan Netanel becoming a Bar Mitzvah.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Candlelighting: 5:47 pm - Shabbat Ends: 6:49 pm
Dear Addlestone Families,
Yesterday's school shooting in Parkland, Florida was devastating and horrific.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Parkland community.
Unfortunately, being prepared for such tragedies has become a reality for our schools today, and we are writing to reinforce that Addlestone Hebrew Academy prioritizes safety above all and maintains security protocol for the protection of all our campus families.

As we attempt to grapple with this tragedy, we can only focus on hugging our children and giving them the skills to be resilient and safe.  We must continue to work together and reassure our students that they are safe and nurtured. Together, we will continue to raise and reinforce strong young people as they grow into adults and may we never witness another tragedy like the one in Florida yesterday.

Sincerely,
Abby Levine and Ariela Davis
