This week may bring uncertainty, yet good things are still happening. Most importantly, we are all in this together, working to help with the UCSF’s COVID-19 response. In addition to the heroic medical and patient care activities underway at UCSF, many employees in our FAS community are contributing behind the scenes to support the response and ongoing business needs. This week Documents & Media (DM) shared a few ways they are helping, plus see updates about campus services and the newly launched FAS COVID-19 response page.
Thank you, FAS helpers
The UCSF Documents & Media (DM) team in Campus Life Services is producing materials and signage in support of other essential campus services that have modified their operations due to COVID-19 and need to share updated information, like the sign printing out above for the Triage Tents at Parnassus.
While the majority of the Documents & Media (DM) team is working remotely, a small crew is still onsite primarily working at our main production plant at Mission Center Building (MCB), focused on producing needed COVID-19 materials.
Thank you to Documents & Media and all the other FAS staff serving in a variety of roles during this time. We’ll be sharing more stories about how FAS is helping.
But wait...there's more!
New FAS COVID-19 Response web page
We’ve just launched a FAS COVID-19 Response web page: https://fas.ucsf.edu/fas-covid-19-resources linked from the FAS home page. This page will evolve to meet our internal FAS communications needs and serve as a supplement to the main UCSF COVID-19 Response page. SVC Paul Jenny’s COVID-19 communications will be collected here. It will serve as a great first-stop resource for FAS staff who need information but don’t regularly use email.
Select retailers are open for business at UCSF campuses
While many staff are working remotely, others are on campus performing essential duties. Our dedicated, hard-working retail partners are onsite to support UCSF staff, faculty, students, patients, and visitors. Please view this list of those who are open to serve our community.
