It doesn't seem possible, but here we are getting ready for the Holiday Season, and the holidays are sure to feel different this year. While gatherings will be smaller, travel will be limited, and our houses may be quiter, there is still so much to be thankful for. There is still so much joy to celebrate. If this year has taught us anything it is that we all need to love a little harder, really celebrate each day we are given, appreciate what we have, and hold our loved ones close in our hearts, even if we can't always do that in a physical sense this year.

We here at Margot Cafe also have so much to be thankful for. You, our Margot family has been there to lift us up in more ways we can count this year and always. We can see the smile and feel the warmth from behind your masks, and we hope you can feel the thanks that we feel for you in gracious service and delicious meals. May the warmth of family, friends and community keep us warm as temperatures cool.

Well.... maybe just the parking lot! Remember the article in the Scene where we won Editor's Pick for "Best Parking Lot Party"? Well, the parking lot is about to see some activity once again...

As most of you know, the March tornadoes tore the roof of our enclosed patio off and kindly deposited it in mangled pieces all over the property. We cleaned it up and dressed it up as best we could, but as winter lurks and the pandemic continues, we have started construction today on a more permanant fix. The talented folks at Artisan Build Construct are doing the renovation, and it is going to an absolutely beautiful addition to the building providing not only needed "distanced" seating but also a private party space and an "all weather" room with climate control as well as fully operable windows that can be opened and closed depending on the weather.

But don't fear! While construction continues, those open air tables will be moved out front as an addition to the Sidewalk Cafe so everyone can enjoy a meal "al Fresco". We can't wait for you to enjoy the new space, but in the meantime we hope you grab a spot out front on the "Pop-up Patio" Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Brunch. And of course MarTOGO will still be available throughout! We hope to see you soon!
