Take Action to Guarantee Access to Online Content After You Graduate |
Your Notre Dame NetID will be deactivated 60 days after you graduate. As a result, you and your collaborators may lose access to important files and folders unless you take action before July 2024 to:
- Relocate files, emails and other resources you want to keep from your Notre Dame student account to a personal account (e.g., Google Drive, Gmail, Adobe, etc.)
- Transfer any files or folders related to research, project work, or any other important content you shared with others to Google Shared drives or a Box Group account – otherwise they will lose access to these resources.
Details about retaining this content and other important changes to complete before your account is disabled are available at: go.nd.edu/graduate.

Achieve Good Password Hygiene
Try using a passphrase instead of a password. For example, instead of Pizza100, try a phrase like “iLovePizzaX100”
Don't share with strangers OR friends |
Keep your passwords to yourself, do not share with anyone.
Do not reuse passwords across multiple accounts. Each account you have should have its own unique password.
When in doubt, change it out! |
Avoid infection! If you're concerned about a potential password compromise, change it out! Make sure your new password meets relevant strength standards.
