New Task Force for Traffic Safety
The Downtown Traffic Safety Task Force is a solution-orientated initiative to cultivate an environment where pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users and drivers coexist harmoniously, especially on busy downtown streets like Congress and Broadway. The task force is comprised of key leaders from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation and Mobility, Tucson Police Department, Rio Nuevo, a downtown property manager, a business owner and the DTP.
As you navigate downtown, expect heightened traffic enforcement targeting unsafe driving behaviors. Support our efforts by adhering to traffic laws, yielding to cyclists and pedestrians, and extending courtesy to our downtown community.

Downtown's First Walk-up Coffee Shop
Roadrunner Coffee Co. has a brand new walk-up-only location at 50 W. Congress Street! Choose from innovative beverages including Bulletproof Coffee, Italian soda, Fusion energy drinks, Maya iced teas, and classics like cappuccinos and lattes. You can also grab some breakfast while you’re on the go!
Don't miss the grand opening festivities on April 15 and 16. Patrons can enjoy free drinks, special appearances and fun giveaways from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Step into the newly unveiled Sonora Moonshine Co. at 124 E. Broadway Boulevard, a venture by Es Teran, owner of Borderlands Brewing. Drawing inspiration from the rich culinary heritage of Sonora, Mexico, this establishment boasts a diverse menu of authentic Sonoran dishes paired with enticing agave-based cocktails, inviting guests to savor the flavors both indoors and on a sprawling patio. Adding to the intrigue, an exciting speakeasy is set to debut in the basement soon.
